Located on Garden Street in the heart of beautiful downtown San Luis
Obispo, Bel Frites serves Belgian style frites with a wide assortment of
dipping sauces and seasonings as well as a wide selection of authentic
Belgian beers and ales.
Our frites (the French word for "fries") are made to order with fresh
Idaho Russet potatoes and pure trans-fat-free canola oil and are served
in a paper cone. They have been described as "fried potato perfection"
in several publications.
Customers can choose from a menu of dipping sauces and seasonings
to create their own favorite combinations or can select from a list of
pairings which includes such favorites as Curry Mango Chutney sauce
with Jamaican Jerk seasoning, Wasabi Sour Cream sauce with
Togarishi seasoning and Smoky Chipotle Aioli sauce with Firehouse
“Tailburner” seasoning,
